Tyler Sechrest, currently residing in Nashville, Tennessee, is also known as Big Bruno. Crafted by his strong southern influence in the Hip-Hop Industry, he is an upcoming Multi-Genre Music Producer. Being introduced to different styles of music through his mother ranging from Marvin Gaye, Outkast, and various disco groups to his father with older 50’s & 60’s music as well as Gospel, music has always been very present in his life.

In the early 2000s, 106 & Park was his only way of discovering new music. That’s where he grew his inspiration and passion for producers like Scott Storch with the ultimate orchestra and melodic production, Three Six Mafia with the bouncing drums and rattling 808s, and Kanye West with sonic instrumentation. His passion still mostly remains loyal to the “Dirty South”. He also developed a love for heavy metal bands during his teen years such as Killswitch Engage & Winds of Plague. He’s also noted that Coldplay and Hans Zimmer as his other inspirations.

Since producing from 2011, he has been attempting to bring a new sound into the progressive genre as well as others. He’s been most noted for his sound being unique to the genre, with hard hitting drops, southern bouncing drums, and ambient dark melodies mixed occasionally with his electronic sound he grew up around in video games.

He graduated from Columbia State Community College (CSCC) in 2015 with his Associate’s Degree in Mass  Communications, and most recently graduated from Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) in 2017 with his Bachelor’s Degree in Audio Production and Mass Communications. He’s currently working on building with local artists and producers around the Nashville area to raise awareness for the city’s talent as well as other Independent artists around the world.
